Tips for Reducing Mosquito Exposure Below are some recommendations for you that will assist us in the effective reduction and management of the mosquito population around your home or business:
  1. When clearing foliage and debris (ie. leaves, fallen limbs, etc.) avoid the piling of material debris for long periods of time (several weeks, months, etc.).
  2. Recycle or dispose of tin cans or any other artificial water containers.
  3. Remove standing water caused by landscaping depressions by drainage or filling with dirt or sand.
  4. When removing tree stumps, where possible, fill with dirt prior to the development of standing water.
  5. Manage weeds in areas where adult mosquitos congregate (use of roundup application is recommended).
  6. Remove any old tires when found throughout property.
  7. Keep shrub foliage trimmed around the home.
  8. Educate your neighbors directly adjacent to your home or business on these practices.
